Overview
The CT gndAx13CS is a high-gain UHF | RAIN RFID antenna for installation in the ground. More than 13 dBic gain and a narrow 35° × 35° beam point the read zone upwards, for example at vehicles crossing a lane. The 500 × 500 × 36 mm unit weighs 8.5 kg.
Circular polarization keeps tag detection largely independent of tag orientation. The antenna covers 902–928 MHz with VSWR ≤ 1.3:1 and works with any UHF | RAIN RFID reader (ISO/IEC 18000-63, EPC Gen2).
The low-profile housing of stainless steel and aluminium is waterproof (IP67), rust-resistant and impact-proof and withstands a compressive load of more than 300 kg; the operating temperature range is −40 to +85 °C. The TNC connector sits on the side of the housing.
