How UHF | RAIN - RFID reader modules work
UHF | RAIN - RFID reader modules operate with passive transponders powered by the emitted high-frequency field. The tags modulate the backscattered radio signal, allowing the module to read the stored EPC data. The license-free frequency range of 860–960 MHz enables read ranges of up to 12 meters and the simultaneous reading of hundreds of tags per second. Thanks to anti-collision features and support for the EPC Gen 2 / ISO 18000-63 protocol, reliable and fast multi-reading is guaranteed.

Its connectivity supports USB, UART-TTL, Ethernet (PoE), CANbus (CANOpen or J1939), Modbus TCP or RS-232/RS-485, GPIO and up to 8 external antennas. A low power consumption & compact design guarantees an easy integration into mobile applications.
