Operating in the 860–960 MHz frequency range, they offer long read ranges, fast RFID transponder detection, and reliable data flow. With supported interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, Modbus, IO-Link, CANbus and Profinet, these readers can be seamlessly integrated into production facilities or logistics systems, providing scalable, future-proof solutions for increasing business productivity. Thanks to their professional design, high RF performance and diverse interfaces, UHF stationary readers can be individually tailored to project requirements – from logistics gates to production lines.
Key features and specifications
The stationary UHF | RAIN - RFID reader operates at 860–960 MHz and supports theISO 18000-63 / EPC Gen2 standerd. Its robust industrial housingenables reliable multi-tag reading through anti-collision technology with a speed of up to 800 tags per second. The device offers flexible connectivity via Ethernet (optional PoE), USB, RS-232/RS-485, CANbus, MODBUS, Profinet and various GPIO/relay options. Reading ranges of up to 15 meter can be achieved. Integration is achieved via ASCII/hex protocol or HID keyboard wedge. Optional integration via LLRP, REST or MQTT is also available. The readers are designed for industrial use cases and achieves up to IP67 protection ratings, depending on the model.

Open APIs (e.g., LLRP, MQTT, or REST) and SDKs enable integration into ERP, WMS, or IoT platforms. Antennas can be flexibly positioned via SMA or TNC connectors to create optimal reading fields. Optional mounting kits simplify installation on gates, walls, or conveyor systems.
