Overview
The CRAFT TECHNOLOGIES S-WBOX.01 is a mobile UHF | RAIN self-service box for fast, reliable and fully automated item identification. Users simply place their items in the box, and the integrated reading system captures the tagged items in a single bulk read, without scanning item by item. Returns and issues run faster, operational control improves and manual handling is reduced. Typical uses range from workwear and textile returns to e-Kanban, where collected Kanban cards or empty bins provide the replenishment signal for the host system.
In the LARGE version, four UHF antennas arranged around the interior are connected to the integrated UHF reader. The system reads EPC Gen2 / ISO/IEC 18000-63 transponders in the European 865–868 MHz band and transfers the read data to the host system via Ethernet or USB.
Reader, antennas, power supply and cabling are installed in the box. The PC or kiosk terminal for the user interface is provided on site and is not part of the scope of supply. The unit is mobile: the LARGE version runs on four castors and has handles on the front and both sides, so it can be moved to wherever items are returned or issued. It is available as LARGE (1430 × 1000 × 1120 mm) and SMALL (600 × 600 × 600 mm); the antenna type will be defined during the prototype phase. Project pricing is available from IDCRAFT on request.
CT S-WBOX.01 is listed at IDCRAFT under UHF RFID readers. All form factors at a glance: RFID readers. Matching tags: UHF RFID tags and labels.
