Overview
The Craft Technologies minID is a highly compact UHF | RAIN RFID reader with a USB Type-C interface, offering plug-and-play functionality and exceptional ease of use. Designed for mobile and flexible applications, this all-in-one reader module combines advanced technology with maximum portability.
Equipped with a low-power UHF RFID reader IC and an integrated single-fed ceramic antenna, the minID achieves a reliable read range of up to 20 cm, making it ideal for short to mid-range applications. Thanks to the USB Type-C interface, the reader can be directly connected to mobile devices and controlled via a comprehensive API function library. Its compact form factor—comparable to a typical Bluetooth headset charging case—makes it easy to carry and use with standard Android smartphones as well as iOS devices (via HID mode).
