Overview
Getting RFID data to where it is needed is often the most expensive part of a project: network approvals, on-site servers, middleware and IT coordination. The CT Connectivity Box turns this into a single step. Connect the reader, insert a SIM card, switch on. The box takes in every read, filters duplicates within a configurable time window, buffers each record locally in SQLite and delivers clean JSON packets to your backend REST API over HTTPS, authenticated with an API key and device ID.
The connection runs on LTE (Cat 4, carrier board prepared for 5G modules), so your corporate network stays out of it: no firewall approvals, no server installation, no alignment meetings with site IT. If the link drops, no data is lost. The box keeps storing and forwards everything once the network is back. Autostart, an LTE watchdog, automatic restart after power loss and a regular heartbeat keep it running without intervention, and every unit carries its own WireGuard VPN for remote maintenance plus a read-only status dashboard.
Two variants are available. GateSense Connect is the complete system: Connectivity Box plus GateSense UHF gate reader, preconfigured and ready to run. The Connectivity Box solo connects existing or project-specific readers after a technical review by our team. Both are developed and assembled by IDCRAFT in Germany, vendor-independent by design, with GateSense gate readers supported today and Chainway (UHF | RAIN), ACS (HF | NFC) and CRAFT Technologies devices in preparation.
