Overview
The CT modAx6161P is a compact UHF | RAIN RFID antenna for integration into handheld readers, terminals and other devices. A stainless-steel radiator above a 61 × 61 mm FR4 board produces circular polarization with more than 3 dBic gain; the assembly is 16.3 mm high.
The wideband design covers 860–960 MHz with an axial ratio below 3 dB, VSWR ≤ 1.3:1 and 50 ± 1 Ω impedance, so one version serves the EU, US and other regional UHF bands. It suits UHF | RAIN RFID reader modules to ISO/IEC 18000-63 / EPC Gen2.
As a passive component without housing, the antenna needs no power supply and is mounted inside the end device. It is fed via a coaxial lead with SMA connector; a U.FL/IPX-type micro-coax connector is available on request. The operating temperature range is −40 to +85 °C.
