Overview
The CT nearAx3030P is a flat UHF | RAIN RFID near-field antenna. Its field stays close to the 301 × 301 mm surface and is designed to be uniform across it, so tags are read on the antenna rather than at a distance. At 8.5 mm height and 500 g it integrates easily into counters, displays and shelves.
The antenna covers 902–928 MHz with VSWR ≤ 1.8:1 and 50 ± 1 Ω impedance and works with any UHF | RAIN RFID reader (ISO/IEC 18000-63, EPC Gen2). Near-field operation suits item-level reading where neighbouring items must not be detected, for example at checkouts, in jewellery displays or on library desks.
The RF feed is a pigtail with an SMA female connector. The black aluminium and plastic housing is rated IP53 for indoor use; the operating temperature range is 0 to +50 °C, storage −30 to +60 °C.
