Overview
The CT panAx5CP is a compact, circularly polarized UHF | RAIN RFID panel antenna for indoor read points. It provides more than 5.5 dBic gain with a wide 105° half-power beamwidth in both planes, which covers a broad field at short range. The 129 × 129 × 22 mm housing weighs 0.3 kg without bracket.
Circular polarization keeps tag detection largely independent of how a tag is rotated in front of the antenna. The wideband design covers 840–960 MHz, so one version serves the EU, US and other regional UHF bands, with VSWR ≤ 1.3:1 and 50 Ω input impedance for any UHF | RAIN RFID reader (ISO/IEC 18000-63, EPC Gen2).
The RF feed is a short pigtail with an SMA female connector (external thread) that leaves the housing at the side. The rib-reinforced housing of ASA and stainless steel is rated IP53 for indoor use from −40 to +85 °C; two mounting lugs with Ø 3.5 mm holes fix it to walls, shelves or furniture.
