Overview
The CT panAx6CP is an ultra-flat, circularly polarized UHF | RAIN RFID far-field panel antenna. With 6 dBic gain and a 65° half-power beamwidth in both planes it reads at medium range, while the ultra-thin black housing of 301 × 301 × 8.5 mm is easy to integrate where space is limited.
Circular polarization keeps tag detection largely independent of how a tag is rotated in front of the antenna. Two band versions are available: 865–868 MHz for Europe and 902–928 MHz for North America, each with VSWR ≤ 1.3:1 and 50 ± 1 Ω impedance, for any UHF | RAIN RFID reader (ISO/IEC 18000-63, EPC Gen2).
The RF feed is a pigtail with an SMA female connector. The plastic, aluminium and FR4 construction is rated IP54 and operates from −20 to +55 °C; the antenna is not intended for acidic or alkaline atmospheres.
