UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna CT - panAx8CNS

The CT panAx8CNS is a circularly polarized UHF | RAIN RFID panel antenna with a narrow beam. More than 8.5 dBic gain and a 50° × 50° beam confine the read zone, for example to one conveyor or dock door, and reduce reads in neighbouring areas. The 200 × 200 × 32 mm housing weighs 0.6 kg without bracket.

Circular polarization keeps tag detection largely independent of how a tag is rotated in front of the antenna. The wideband design covers 860–960 MHz, so one version serves the EU, US and other regional UHF bands, with VSWR ≤ 1.3:1 and 50 ± 1 Ω impedance for any UHF | RAIN RFID reader (ISO/IEC 18000-63, EPC Gen2).

The double-sealed aluminium-alloy and ASA housing is designed for impact and vibration resistance and rated IP54, operating from −40 to +85 °C (not for acidic or alkaline atmospheres). The RP-TNC female connector sits on the side; four M4 threaded holes on the rear take an optional bracket for steel frames or poles.
