UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna CT - panAx8CRS

The CT panAx8CRS is a rugged, circularly polarized UHF | RAIN RFID far-field panel antenna. More than 8 dBic gain and a 70° × 70° beam cover typical read zones at dock doors, gates and conveyors, and a front-to-back ratio of 20 dB keeps reads behind the antenna low. The 200 × 200 × 32 mm housing weighs 1.3 kg.

Circular polarization keeps tag detection largely independent of how a tag is rotated in front of the antenna. The antenna covers 902–928 MHz with VSWR ≤ 1.3:1 and 50 ± 1 Ω impedance and suits any UHF | RAIN RFID reader (ISO/IEC 18000-63, EPC Gen2).

The aluminium-alloy and ASA housing is designed for impact and vibration resistance; a double seal of gasket and silicone gives IP65 for indoor and outdoor use from −40 to +85 °C (not for acidic or alkaline atmospheres). The RP-TNC female connector sits on the side; four M4 threaded holes on the rear take an optional bracket for steel frames or poles.
