Overview
The CT panAx9C is a circularly polarized UHF | RAIN RFID far-field panel antenna for fixed readers. It combines 9 dBic gain with a 70° half-power beamwidth in both planes and covers wide read zones at long range. The 258 × 258 × 36 mm housing weighs 0.91 kg without bracket.
Circular polarization keeps tag detection largely independent of how a tag is rotated in front of the antenna. Two band versions are available: 865–868 MHz for Europe and 902–928 MHz for North America, each with VSWR ≤ 1.3:1 and 50 ± 1 Ω impedance. The antenna suits any UHF | RAIN RFID reader (ISO/IEC 18000-63, EPC Gen2) and connects via 50 Ω coaxial cable to its rear N female socket.
A double seal of gasket and silicone and a rib-reinforced housing of ASA and aluminium protect the antenna in harsh indoor and outdoor environments (IP67, −40 to +85 °C, 5–95 % RH); it is not intended for acidic or alkaline atmospheres. Four M6 studs on the rear take an optional L-bracket for mounting on steel frames or poles, horizontal or vertical, with adjustable tilt.
The CT panAx9C is listed at IDCRAFT under UHF RFID antennas. Matching readers: fixed RAIN RFID readers.
