Overview
The CT panAx9L is a linearly polarized UHF | RAIN RFID far-field panel antenna for fixed readers. With 9 dBi gain and a 70° half-power beamwidth in both planes it reaches long read ranges wherever tags pass in a known orientation, such as on conveyors, pallets or vehicles. The 258 × 258 × 36 mm housing weighs 0.91 kg without bracket.
Aligned with the tags, a linear antenna avoids the 3 dB polarization loss of circular designs; tags turned by 90° to its polarization plane, however, are not read reliably. The antenna covers 902–928 MHz with VSWR ≤ 1.3:1 and 50 ± 1 Ω impedance and suits any UHF | RAIN RFID reader (ISO/IEC 18000-63, EPC Gen2).
A double seal of gasket and silicone and a rib-reinforced housing of ASA and aluminium protect the antenna in harsh indoor and outdoor environments (IP67, −40 to +85 °C, 5–95 % RH); it is not intended for acidic or alkaline atmospheres. An optional L-bracket fixes to the rear with M6 screws; align the polarization plane with the tag orientation when mounting.
The CT panAx9L is listed at IDCRAFT under UHF RFID antennas. Matching readers: fixed RAIN RFID readers.
