Overview
HID’s Cage SlimTRAK tag is used to identify laundry cages and trolleys (even metallic ones). This flexible RAIN® (UHF) tag is made from extremely resistant material (thermoplastic polyurethane) and tolerates repeated bending and torsion, while maintaining excellent performance characteristics, even in challenging environments such as laundry plants and loading docks. It can withstand high and low temperatures, rough handling as well as various washing processes.
The Cage SlimTRAK can be easily and securely attached to the cage with cable ties, industrial adhesive or rivets. The tag can then be scanned with a UHF RFID reader or portal. Cage SlimTRAK can be encodedwith a SGTIN96 or SSCC format, or any on-demand encoding format. It can also be printed on with a logo, a number, a QR code, etc. (contact us for more information). With a reliable RFID identifier, laundries are able to optimize cage usage on site and at customer premises, reduce cage losses as well as associated maintenance costs.
