UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A1115

The Times-7 A1115 is the smallest member of the True NearField series (A1115, A1130, A1163). It reads RAIN RFID tags in a tightly confined 150 x 150 mm zone directly above the antenna surface, with no surface dead spots. The flat-radome version measures 150 x 150 x 8.6 mm and weighs only 0.154 kg, small enough for checkout counters, shelf compartments and benchtop stations.

The antenna works with the near field at its surface instead of radiating into the room, so stray reads from neighbouring shelves or passing items are suppressed and performance stays consistent next to metal and liquids. Typical VSWR is 1.95 and the far-field equivalent gain is -10.5 dBi.

The flame-retardant ABS radome is rated IP54 for indoor use from 0 to +50 °C. It comes flat (150 x 150 mm) or thermoformed (154 x 154 mm), each in black or white. An SMA female connector sits on a 482 mm RG316 fly lead. Integrated rear mounting holes take screws; where drilling is not possible, the included self-adhesive rubber feet prevent slipping. Optional 4 mm and 6 mm mounting plates are available.
