UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A3042

The Times-7 A3042 is a robust, high-gain RAIN RFID panel antenna from the SlimLine range. An 8-patch array delivers 10.5 dBiC typical gain with a narrow 25° (XZ) by 60° (YZ) 3 dB beamwidth for precise, confined read zones. The panel measures 604 x 304 x 11 mm, or 27.5 mm deep including the mounting studs, and weighs 2.38 kg.

Typical VSWR is 1.4, axial ratio 2 dB and front-to-back ratio 25 dB, so energy goes to the coverage area and interference from behind is suppressed. Left- and right-hand circularly polarised versions allow multi-reader portals without nulls in the read zone; cut-outs on the radome show the handedness.

A white, flame-retardant, solar-resistant ABS formed radome with enhanced edge protection sits on an integrated riveted metal backplate, rated IP54 for indoor and outdoor use. Four M6 studs on a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern take standard brackets; M6 nuts and washers are supplied, maximum torque 5 Nm per fastener. The rear RP-TNC jack reduces cable strain, and the antenna can be rotated 180° to place the connector.
