UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A4030L

The Times-7 A4030L is a linearly polarised far-field RAIN RFID antenna from the Times-7 SlimLine range of multi-purpose antennas. It delivers 7.5 dBi far-field gain with a 62° 3 dB beamwidth in both planes and a read range of up to 9 m. The square housing measures 280 x 280 mm and is only 12.2 mm deep, with a net weight of 0.752 kg.

Linear polarisation concentrates energy in one plane, which gives longer range than the circular A4030C where tag orientation is known or controlled. Typical VSWR is 1.8 and the front-to-back ratio 22 dB. Versions cover 865–868 MHz (ETSI) or 902–928 MHz (FCC) and work with any UHF RFID reader with a 50 Ω antenna port at up to 3 W input power.

The fire-retardant ABS radome is rated IP65, with operation from -20 to +55 °C. The SMA female connector sits on the rear, so no cable is visible from the front. Recessed corner holes allow fully flush mounting or attachment of 100 x 100 mm VESA brackets; the optional mounting plate (shared with the A4030C) supports bracket installation indoors and outdoors.
