UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A5010

The Times-7 A5010 is a compact, high-gain far-field RAIN RFID antenna from the Times-7 flagship range. A right-hand circularly polarised element delivers 8.5 dBiC typical gain with a symmetrical 68° 3 dB beamwidth in both planes, packed into a 250 x 250 mm housing that is only 14 mm deep.

Typical VSWR is 1.3, the axial ratio 1 dB and the front-to-back ratio 20 dB. The antenna covers 865–868 MHz (ETSI) or 902–928 MHz (FCC) and works with any UHF RFID reader with a 50 Ω antenna port; the SMA jack exits on the side, and a 50 Ω detection resistance lets readers identify a connected antenna.

A flame-retardant, UV-resistant ABS radome on an integrated aluminium backplate is rated IP67 for indoor and outdoor applications within the 0 to +65 °C operating range. Two mounting variants are available: flush mount through the corner holes or with industrial tape, or stud mount with M4 studs on a standard 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern. An optional connector protection backplate shields the SMA connector on brackets and in free space.
