Overview
The Times-7 A5020CX combines the performance of the A5020CP with the ultra-rugged durability of the A5020LX. A right-hand circularly polarised element delivers 5.5 dBiC typical gain with a 105° 3 dB beamwidth in both planes and a typical read range of 4 m, in a compact 150.7 x 149.4 mm grey housing that is only 14.5 mm deep.
Typical VSWR is 1.4, the axial ratio 2 dB and the front-to-back ratio 10 dB. The antenna covers 865–868 MHz (ETSI) or 902–928 MHz (FCC) and works with any UHF RFID reader with a 50 Ω antenna port; a 10 kΩ detection resistance lets readers identify it.
The flame-retardant, UV-resistant grey ABS radome is rated IP68 and IP69K, so the antenna withstands high-pressure, high-temperature cleaning and aggressive cleaning agents in food processing, clean rooms and outdoor installations without corroding. Recessed corner holes allow flush mounting or fitting to 100 x 100 mm VESA brackets. The SMA jack exits on the side; the optional A5020 Connector Protection Backplate shields it on brackets in free space.
