UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A5060

The Times-7 A5060 is a high-gain, circularly polarised RAIN RFID panel antenna from the SlimLine range. A multi-element array delivers 10.5 dBiC typical gain and a read range of up to 10 m with a narrow 25° (XZ) by 60° (YZ) 3 dB beamwidth. The formed-radome version measures 608 x 308 x 9.7 mm, the flat-radome version 600 x 300 x 8.6 mm.

The array minimises signal distortion and spreads energy evenly in the near and far field, so dense, highly reflective tag populations are read reliably. Typical VSWR is 1.4, axial ratio 2 dB and front-to-back ratio 25 dB. Right-hand circular polarisation is standard, left-hand is available for selected SKUs. The antenna covers 865–868 MHz (ETSI) or 902–928 MHz (FCC) and works with any UHF RFID reader with a 50 Ω port; detection resistance is 10 kΩ.

The flame-retardant ABS radome is rated IP54; the injection-moulded formed radome, in black or white, better protects the corners from impact and has moulded cable cut-outs. An RG316 fly lead of 270 mm ends in an SMA jack. Six pre-drilled rear holes allow flush mounting behind ceiling tiles, in cabinets or over benches; the A5060 Mounting Plate with screw kit adds 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting.
