UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A6011

The Times-7 A6011 is a SlimLine right-hand circularly polarised flat panel antenna array that mounts under a conveyor belt. It is available in three sizes, 1200 x 600, 1000 x 800 and 800 x 800 mm, all only 12 mm thick. The 1200 mm version delivers 11 dBiC and the 1000 and 800 mm versions 10 dBiC far-field gain, with a read zone of up to 900 mm above the belt.

Axial ratio is 2 dB typical, so bag and carton tags read in any rotation on the belt. Read zone across the belt reaches up to 1200 mm on the 1200 mm version and up to 1000 mm on the 1000 mm version; typical VSWR is 2 or 1.8 depending on size. The antenna covers 865–868 MHz (ETSI) or 902–928 MHz (FCC), accepts up to 3 W and works with any UHF RFID reader with a 50 Ω antenna port.

An ultra-low-profile UHMWPE radome rated IP54 is designed for continuous 24x7 operation from 0 to +50 °C. The antenna is affixed directly onto the conveyor frame under the belt; an earthing cable and DC grounding provide anti-static protection, and RF connects via a 300 mm SMA female side fly lead. Combined with the A6020 Conveyor Portal Antenna, the A6011 forms a baggage portal that installs into existing airport infrastructure.
