UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A7030C

The Times-7 A7030C is a circularly polarised RAIN RFID shelf antenna from the SlimLine range. At only 8.5 mm thick (11.5 mm with feet) and 300 x 300 mm, it fits into existing shelving and cabinets. A right-hand circularly polarised element delivers 6 dBiC gain with a 65° 3 dB beamwidth in both planes for real-time item-level inventory on the shelf above.

Typical VSWR is 1.4:1, axial ratio 2 dB and front-to-back ratio 17 dB. The antenna covers 865–868 MHz (ETSI) or 902–928 MHz (FCC) and works with any UHF RFID reader with a 50 Ω antenna port at up to 3 W input power; a 10 kΩ detection resistance lets readers identify a connected antenna, and the DC-grounded design provides anti-static protection.

The fire-retardant ABS radome is rated IP54. The Array-Ability feet let several antennas be combined into scalable, customised shelf layouts, and four drill guides in the radome can be drilled through for flush mounting without damaging the antenna. Connection is via a 365 mm side fly lead with SMA jack; SMA to RP-TNC cables in 2, 4, 6 and 8 m are listed under Cable Accessories. The antenna is built in New Zealand and is RoHS and CE compliant.
