UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A7060

The Times-7 A7060 is an ultra-low-profile, linearly polarised flat panel RAIN RFID antenna from the Times-7 SlimLine range. It delivers 9 dBi typical far-field gain with a 3 dB beamwidth of 30° in the XZ plane and 65° in the YZ plane. The elongated panel measures 600 x 250 mm, is only 8 mm thick and weighs 1.2 kg, so it covers a full shelf board or cabinet compartment.

‍

Typical VSWR is 1.6 and the front-to-back ratio 24 dB. Versions cover 865–868 MHz (ETSI) or 902–928 MHz (FCC) and work with any UHF RFID reader with a 50 Ω antenna port at up to 3 W input power. The element is DC grounded for ESD protection, and a 10 kΩ detection resistance lets readers identify a connected antenna.

‍

The fire-retardant ABS radome is rated IP54, with operation from -20 to +55 °C and storage from -30 to +65 °C. The SMA female connector is on a 300 mm side fly lead. The A7060 is designed for real-time asset and product identification, for example smart shelves that register when items are removed or moved; custom lengths are available on request. Matching SMA to RP-TNC cables in 2, 4, 6 and 8 m are listed under Cable Accessories.

The Times-7 A7060 is listed at IDCRAFT under UHF RFID antennas. Matching readers: fixed RAIN RFID readers.
