UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A8060

The Times-7 A8060 is a SlimLine ultra-low-profile linear flat panel antenna that turns an existing doorway into a RAIN RFID portal or read point. A horizontally polarised element delivers 5 dBi far-field gain with a 3 dB beamwidth of 30° in the XZ plane and 110° in the YZ plane, in a 650 x 88 mm housing that is only 9.6 mm deep and weighs 0.532 kg.

Typical VSWR is 1.8 and the front-to-back ratio 7 dB. The antenna covers 865–868 MHz (ETSI) or 902–928 MHz (FCC), accepts up to 3 W and works with any UHF RFID reader with a 50 Ω antenna port. It is DC grounded for anti-static protection, and a 10 kΩ detection resistance lets readers identify a connected antenna.

The fire-retardant ABS radome is rated IP54 and operates from -20 to +55 °C. Four drill guides on the radome can be drilled through without damaging the antenna, or the included adhesive foam strip fixes it to a flat surface, so no extra frames or mounting kits are needed.
