UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A8065H

The Times-7 A8065H is a SlimLine door frame antenna with horizontal linear polarisation, designed to mount on the side of a doorway. It delivers 6 dBi typical far-field gain with a 3 dB beamwidth of 30° in the XZ plane and 110° in the YZ plane, in a housing of 700 x 90 mm that is only 9.6 mm deep and weighs 0.58 kg.

Typical VSWR is 1.8 and the front-to-back ratio 6 dB. The antenna covers 865–868 MHz (ETSI) or 902–928 MHz (FCC), accepts up to 3 W and works with any UHF RFID reader with a 50 Ω antenna port. It is DC grounded for anti-static protection, and a 10 kΩ detection resistance lets readers identify a connected antenna. Paired with a vertically polarised antenna on the opposite side, it covers tags lying horizontally.

The flame-retardant ABS radome is rated IP54 and operates from -20 to +55 °C. Integrated drill guides can be drilled through without damaging the antenna, or it attaches with an adhesive foam strip; RF connects via a 300 mm RG-316 lead with SMA female connector. The A8065H is the horizontal side antenna of the A8065 Combo, which pairs it with the A8065V and the dual-linear A8065D for orientation-independent doorway reads.
