UHF | RAIN - RFID Antenna Times-7 - A9044M

The Times-7 A9044M Packing Station Antenna is a multi-patch, multi-linear RAIN RFID antenna for item-level reads in densely packed goods. Four ports drive patches with different orientations and beam tilts, and the antenna combines evenly distributed near-field and far-field energy. It delivers 7 dBi typical gain in a 640 x 650 mm housing that is only 8.6 mm thick (21.1 mm with connectors) and weighs 2 kg.

Ports 2 and 3 produce symmetrical 65° beams with 10° tilt, horizontally and vertically polarised; ports 1 and 4 produce multi-linear directional beams of 30° and 40° with 15–20° tilt. Operated with a four-port reader, the tilted beams and polarisation diversity read over a thousand tags in seconds.

A flame-retardant, UV-resistant ABS radome in black or white is rated IP54 for -20 to +55 °C. Eight perimeter mounting holes allow tabletop, side-mounted or tunnel integration; the four SMA female connectors exit at the rear. Point loads must not exceed 7 kg per square centimetre and distributed loads 500 kg. The antenna is shipped two per box; VSWR is 1.85 and front-to-back ratio 15 dB typical; the antenna accepts up to 3 W and has a 10 kΩ detection resistance and DC grounding.
